The Nigeria National League Super Four tournament has been moved due to the devastating flood crisis that is ravaging various areas of the nation.

The season-ending playoff for the top teams in the four abridged divisions was scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 19 through Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenegoa, the capital of Bayelsa state.

Unfortunately, the management had to make a decision in light of the impacts of the flood

According to the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Emmanuel while speaking to NNL Media, “It has proposed a new date of Tuesday 25 – Sunday 29th October 2022 for the Tournament, while hoping that normalcy would prevail “

“We are touched by such flood situations in Bayelsa and other regions of the country as well, we needed to tarry and pray God to intervene under the circumstances”

“It is a natural phenomenon and we can only seek proper interventions to save the situation, we regret the inconveniences this may have caused many people”

Bayelsa United, Doma United of Gombe, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Bendel Insurance of Benin are the four group winners will compete in the classification Super four event.
