The Matchweek 2 of The Creative Championship League commenced on Thursday, 13 October 2022, between Iganmu Tiger FC and Gbagada FC at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere.

Both sides shared the spoils in an encounter that saw one goal apiece in the first half of the game and a barren second half.

Ogundare Williams opened the scoring in the 17th minute for the home side before Ademola Akibu levelled the scoreline in the 19th.

Matches continued on Saturday, 15 October 2022, with three fixtures, Dannaz FC against Dino SC, Valiant FC Vs Sporting Lagos, and Imperial FC against Broad City FC.

The encounter between Dannaz and Dino started at 11 am at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere.

Dino took the lead in the first half, but Dannaz had other plans in the second half, scoring three goals. The away side could only score one more goal to finish the game 3-2.

In the other game scheduled for the afternoon, Sporting Lagos humiliated Valiant FC 4-0, with Adio Ojara netting a second-half hattrick.

Furthermore, Imperial FC took on Broad City FC at the Remo Stars Stadium on Saturday night, with the scoreline finishing 4-2 in favour of the home team.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw in the first half before Imperial FC took charge and won the second half scoring two more goals.

The final fixture for Matchweek two was between Atlantic Business FC and defending champions, Beyond Limits FA, at the Dipo International Stadium, Ijebu Ode, on Sunday.

It was a contest for the big boys, with both teams bragging before the games.

The game lived up to expectations, with goals from Paul Jacob of Atlantic Business FC and Farouq Ogundare of Beyond Limits FA the highlight of the first half.

Atlantic Business FC showed their superiority through a Moyosore Onikoyi second-half strike to secure maximum points for the God’s own team.
