The second season of Leks Schools League has commenced in Abeokuta at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School.

Two teams making their debut, Folarin Dally Secondary School and Apostolic Faith Secondary School, set the tone for the day with Folarin Dally thrashing opponent Apostolic Faith 3-0

Defending Champions of Abeokuta Conference, Nigerian Navy Secondary School kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Victorroti Private Secondary School.

However, in their second game against Sacred Heart Catholic College, the defending champions found it difficult winning this one as the game ended in a stalemate.

Victorroti Private Secondary School bounced back from the defeat against Nigerian Navy Secondary School to beat Apostolic Faith Secondary School 3-0 in the day’s fourth game.

On the other hand, Nigerian Navy Secondary School continued with their impressive run, beating Folarin Dally 3-0 in a dominant display.

The last game of the day saw a stalemate between Victorroti Private Secondary School and Sacred Heart Catholic College.

Nigerian Navy Secondary School leads the Abeokuta Conference with 7 points, and Victorroti Private Secondary School with 4 points in second place. Folarin Dally occupies the third position with 3 points, while Sacred Heart Catholic College are in fourth place with 2 points. Apostolic Faith Secondary School are bottom of the Abeokuta Conference log with no points.

Lagos Conference will begin its season on Tuesday, with so much to expect from Government College Lagos, Eko Boys High School, Birch Freeman High School, Eric Moore Senior Boys School, Anwar Islam Model College and Ilupeju Secondary School.
