Nigeria’s first credit bureau, FirstCentral Credit Bureau has thrown its weight behind the Nationwide League (NLO) as the headline sponsor of the maiden NLO Cup slated to kick off next week.
The third-tier football league management announced FirstCentral in a tweet that confirmed it will sponsor the tournament and NLO’s Annual General Meeting.
Chairman of the NLO, Hon. Silas Agara said in a press conference that the various reforms the new board has put in place have started yielding positive gains and also the league a more attractive brand for corporate Nigeria.
FirstCentral is ranked Number 1 credit bureau in Nigeria, with the largest subscriber base; in addition to having the widest coverage and fast-growing representation in some African countries.
The city of Kano and Uyo will host the best 16 teams in the grassroots league in the tournament billed to kick off on Friday, November 24 through Saturday, December 9, 2023.
NLO said the participating teams were drawn from across the country following their impressive performance in the league.
