Ikorodu City FC are back-to-back champions of the Lagos FA Cup following a 2-0 victory over new boys, Inter Lagos FC at Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos.
With a goal each in the first half, Ikorodu City maintained their brilliant form this season across all competitions.
Harisson Uzondu Austin’s 27th-minute header gave Ikorodu the lead before Oyedokun Tosin extended the lead in the 58th minute after scoring from the penalty spot.
Inter Lagos failed to respond but would be happy with their overall performance in the cup.
The club was established in September 2023, and they are already making a statement in the city. They knocked out Nigeria Professional Football League side, Sporting Lagos to reach the final.
