Chelsea Football Club is reportedly set close to completing the signing of 18-year-old Nigerian youngster Hafiz Umar Ibrahim from Ojodu City FC.
The Blues are said to be offering the striker a two-year deal with a loan move to Strasbourg in the French Lig 1.
Hafiz became the cynosure of all eyes following an impressive outing at the 74th Viareggio Cup held in Italy where he hit ten goals for the Ojodu Tigers.
Hafiz had earlier turned down an offer to join a Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt for personal reasons.
Since arriving at the London club on trial in March 2024, Hafiz had impressed culminating in a hat-trick in his final trial match Myleaguewire understands.
