Beyond Limits Football Academy has announced its 20-man squad for the 2024 Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The academy, based in Ikenne, Ogun State will compete in Group One alongside Swedish sides IFK Goteborg and GIF Sundsvall, as well as Rosenberg Ballklub from Norway.
The team, led by Coach Olumide Ajibolade, will begin their campaign against GIF Sundsvall on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Having participated in the previous edition of the tournament in 2023, where they were eliminated in the quarterfinals, the young Sky Blues will be looking to improve their performance this year.
The team’s marksman, Kparobo Ariehri, will be relied upon for goals in the tournament, following his impressive outing in the 2023/2024 season, where he scored an impressive 42 goals in the National League, Federation Cup, and The Creative Championship.
